Eir evo talent are currently seeking applicants for a IT Support Engineer. This is a permanent position located with our client in Co Donegal. We are seeking a proactive and technically capable professional to support the management and resolution of service requests and technical incidents. This role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset to ensure efficient service delivery across multiple support channels. This is a hybrid position, you must be able to work onsite 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues reported through various support channels.
• Monitor and manage case queues to ensure timely handling of incoming requests.
• Own the full incident lifecycle, including updates and communication with end users.
• Provide prompt responses to both scheduled and unexpected technical issues.
• Accurately log and update service tickets with clear, thorough documentation.

Requirements

• Must be able to speak German (B2 or above)
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems (2008, 2012, 2016).
• Familiarity with typical enterprise application workflows.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-level problems.
• Foundational experience with Linux system administration.
• Basic working knowledge of MySQL and/or MS SQL databases.

Desirable Qualifications

• Formal education or certification in Information Technology or a related area.
• ITIL certification or familiarity with service management methodologies.
• Background in enterprise support or technical services environments.
