My customer is seeking a hands-on IT Supervisor with strong server engineering expertise to join their growing manufacturing team. You'll oversee critical infrastructure operations and lead initiatives to strengthen our server environment while supporting a robust, secure, and efficient IT ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and mentor a small team of IT professionals (including system administrators and helpdesk staff)
• Lead the management, maintenance, and optimization of server infrastructure, including VMware environments and Windows Server ecosystems
• Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 (O365) and Azure Active Directory environments
• Manage Group Policy (GP) creation, maintenance, and enforcement to support security and operational standards
• Ensure system uptime, patch management, backups, and disaster recovery preparedness
• Collaborate with manufacturing leadership and corporate IT teams to support plant operations and IT initiatives
• Maintain documentation, compliance standards, and IT best practices across the environment
• Lead or participate in IT projects such as server upgrades, virtualization initiatives, security enhancements, and new technology rollouts

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of IT experience with a strong focus on server engineering and infrastructure support
• 2+ years of supervisory or team lead experience preferred
• Expertise in VMware virtualization technologies
• Advanced knowledge of Windows Server administration (2016/2019/2022)
• Strong experience with Microsoft 365 administration, Active Directory, and Group Policy management
• Solid understanding of backup solutions, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity principles
• Experience supporting IT in a manufacturing environment highly preferred
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., VMware VCP, Microsoft MCSA/MCSE, etc.)
