Job Details Job Location: CT Headquarters - SOUTH WINDSOR, CT Position Type: Full Time Education Level: 2 Year Degree Salary Range: Undisclosed Job Shift: 1st Shift Job Category: Information Technology Description Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented IT Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing first-level technical support, managing user accounts, hardware, and ensuring the smooth operation of various IT systems across multiple company sites. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and a commitment to delivering excellent user support. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Administer and manage the RingCentral phone system. * Set up new users in the Epicor ERP system. * Provide first-level support through the IT ticketing system. * Procure and configure cell phones for new users. * Assist in the administration and support of Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). * Provide user support for Office 365 applications, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. * Support Microsoft Teams for communication, meetings, and collaboration. * Assist remote users in accessing company systems and resources. * Assign portable hardware (e.g., laptops, tablets) as requested by users. * Create and maintain up-to-date IT process documentation. * Maintain and troubleshoot onsite printers and related equipment. * Provide IT support across multiple company locations. * Work independently and collaboratively with the IT team to resolve technical issues and manage day-to-day IT operations. * Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Qualifications: * Associate's degree from a college or university, or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Proven experience in a similar IT Support or Technician role. * Familiarity with RingCentral, Epicor ERP, Microsoft 365 (Office Suites), and MFA systems. * Experience supporting Microsoft Teams in a business environment. * Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills. * Effectively present information and respond to questions from individuals and/or groups of fellow employees. * Ability to work independently or as part of a team. * Ability to work under pressure in a calm and efficient manner, quickly adapting to change. * Experience supporting users across multiple locations, including remote users. * Strong written and verbal communication skills.
