Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity in Jacksonville, Florida for an IT Security Specialist. The role primarily revolves around the information technology and cybersecurity sector. You will be expected to identify vulnerabilities, conduct rigorous testing, and ensure the security of our systems and networks.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive penetration testing on networks, systems, and web applications

Utilize custom testing scripts and tools for thorough evaluation

Document findings meticulously and communicate them effectively to both technical and non-technical teams

Recommend remediation strategies and mitigating controls to fortify security

Review source code to identify potential security flaws

Stay updated on the latest trends and threats in the cybersecurity domain

Employ skills in cloud technologies and firewall technologies for comprehensive security management

Use your proficiency in AWS technologies and configuration management to enhance security measures

Apply knowledge of Checkpoint, Cyber Security, Source Code Management, Security Vulnerability, Network Vulnerability, Vulnerability Analysis, and Vulnerability Assessment to strengthen security infrastructure.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience as an IT Security Specialist or in a similar role

Proficiency in Checkpoint and Cloud Technologies

In-depth knowledge of Firewall Technologies and AWS Technologies

Demonstrated ability in Configuration Management

Strong understanding of Cyber Security principles and practices

Experience with Source Code Management tools and techniques

Ability to identify and manage Security Vulnerabilities

Proficient in Network Vulnerability detection and management

Skilled in Vulnerability Analysis and Vulnerability Assessment

Must stay abreast of the latest developments in IT security standards and trends

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
