We are looking for a SABSA certified Security Architect to design, implement, and maintain our client’s security architecture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable business strategies.

Key Responsibilities

– Design and oversee the implementation of enterprise-wide security architecture using SABSA methodology

– Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies

– Collaborate with stakeholders to align security initiatives with business objectives

– Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures

– Evaluate and recommend security products and solutions

– Provide guidance and mentorship to junior security team members

– Stay current with emerging security threats and technologies

Required Qualifications

– SABSA Chartered Security Architect certification

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

– Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT security, with at least 5 years in a security architecture role

– Strong knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT)

– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

– Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
