Our client, a leading financial organization, is undergoing a significant transformation of its business and IT infrastructure through a multi-year digitalization initiative. They are currently seeking an IT security engineer expertise in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems to join their team. This is an initial 12-month contract position with the possibility of renewal. Candidate with more experience will be consider as a senior level.

Key Contributions:

• Administer and maintain security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), antivirus software, and SIEM platforms.
• Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and produce detailed incident reports.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements through audits and documentation.
• Perform risk assessments to identify potential security weaknesses and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into the organization's processes and systems.

Core Expectations:

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, SIEM, and endpoint protection.
• Experience in cloud security related would be an advantage
• Fluent in written and speaking Cantonese & English
