Manage small, medium, and large enterprise IT projects which overlap varies departments within the Health System. Works to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budgetary constraints. Essential Duties and Responsibilities IT Project Managers are responsible for overseeing all aspects of any project in a company's IT department, which includes managing a team of employees to ensure projects are completed on time and within their specified budgets. Some of an IT Project Manager's day-to-day duties include: * Setting project goals and coming up with plans to meet those goals * Maintaining project time frames, budgeting estimates, and status reports * Managing resources for projects such as computer equipment and employees * Coordinating project team members and developing schedules and individual responsibilities * Implementing IT strategies that deliver projects on schedule and within budgets * Use project management tools to track project performance * Assist with managing project portfolio and executive reporting * Conduct risk assessments for projects * Organizing meeting to discuss project goals and progress Qualifications/Requirements: * Advanced computer skills and in-depth knowledge of different operating systems, network administration and service desk administration * Project management and leadership skills for managing projects and the teams involved with them * Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with team * Analytical and problem-solving to handle any issues that occur during project completion * Organization and time management skills to keep projects on track and within budget * Excellent resource planning and scheduling skills
