Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Presales Engineer to join our sales team. The IT Presales Engineer will collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs, design technical solutions, and deliver compelling presentations to potential clients. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of IT infrastructure and software solutions.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and business objectives.
  • Design innovative and cost-effective technical solutions based on customer needs, leveraging the company's products and services.
  • Create compelling and detailed technical proposals, including solution architectures, diagrams, and pricing.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers, showcasing the features and benefits of the proposed solutions.
  • Respond to technical queries and provide clarification on product capabilities, integration options, and implementation requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as product development and support, to gather relevant information and address customer concerns.
  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of sales collateral, including technical documentation, case studies, and whitepapers.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and seminars to showcase company solutions and gather market intelligence.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in a similar role as an IT Presales Engineer or a related technical sales position.
  • Strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud computing, and software solutions.
  • Proficiency in presenting technical concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to analyze customer requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Familiarity with CRM and sales tools for managing customer interactions and tracking sales activities.


Preferred Qualifications:


  1. Industry certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), or similar.
  2. Experience with solution selling, consulting, or project management.
  3. Knowledge of enterprise software applications, cybersecurity, or data analytics.
