Becoming part of our Corporate IT Team and reporting to the Group IT Infrastructure Manager, the IT Network Specialist will be responsible for the development and the evolution of Maccaferri Network Solutions.

In Particular, He/she Will

• Manage the network infrastructure and assure their maintenance;
• Manage the migration of existing branch offices network infrastructure according to company model;
• Manage the changes request of network equipment (switch/firewall) configuration;
• Manage the LAN/WAN analysis to ensure optimal performance of the network
• Interact and coordinate network consultants and other external suppliers (Italian and foreign);
• Support Group IT Infrastructure Manager defining and maintaining the best network solutions (On premises and Cloud) in terms of security, efficiency and scalability
• Responsible to maintain updated the network infrastructure’s documentation
  
  

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science (Nice to have);
• 3y+ of relevant experience in similar roles;
• Knowledge of at least one of main project management methodologies (Agile, PMP, CMMI, Prince2, etc.);
• Good knowledge of LAN routing & switching
• Good knowledge of firewalls, network segregation/security and VPN
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Azure networking stack
• Good knowledge of Microsoft network services
• Fluent in English and Italian;
• Problem solving and team working attitudes, proactive approach, and good communication skills.
