Summary

Scion Technology has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an experienced IT Managed Services and Consulting Business Development manager, for our client, an exceptional IT Services company! In this role, you’ll utilize your IT knowledge and relationship building expertise to work with businesses in finding IT solutions for their multifaceted business issues! This role is idea for a mid-career professional who has had success in B2B sales to large companies and is looking for a growth opportunity! This is a full time, direct hire, hybrid role based in Bellevue.

  • Compensation range is $80-120k, depending on experience


What you will be doing:

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales strategy to identify, evaluate, and secure new business opportunities within large-scale markets.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders across technical and business sectors, including decision-makers in IT, engineering, and senior management.
  • Work closely with the Vice President of Sales and Account Management team to create and deliver tailored solutions spanning cloud computing, enterprise software, infrastructure, and managed services.
  • Lead technical sales initiatives by simplifying intricate IT architectures into compelling, value-driven proposals for clients.
  • Oversee the complete sales process from prospecting and solution formulation to proposal drafting, negotiation, and contract finalization, ensuring achievement of revenue objectives.
  • Keep abreast of industry developments, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes to refine sales strategies and distinguish offerings.


  • What you will need:Mid level sales experience- 5+ years in B2B sales, focused on IT solutions, enterprise technology, and engineering services
  • Demonstrated success in selling complex IT solutions with long sales cycles within global companies (Microsoft, Amazon, etc); understanding the nuance and ecosystem within large scale companies that lead to sales decisions
  • IT knowledge, able to communicate effectively regarding IT solutions frameworks, systems integrations, IT architecture.
  • BS in Computer Science or related technical field; or equivalent professional experience
