Your Tasks

• Contribute to the ongoing evolution of the Hirschvogel Business Intelligence (BI) strategy.
• Play a pivotal role in advancing the technical development of the central data warehouse architecture and the establishment of a new data lake for production and business data.
• Support migration of current SAP BW4 Data to Microsoft Azure and Power BI
• Create an infrastructure framework that supports the successful execution of BI projects.
• Design, implement, and optimize comprehensive BI and analytics solutions, covering data provisioning to interactive analysis dashboards.
• Analyze BI requirements from various departments and collaborate with data engineering and BI projects globally using both classic and agile project methodologies.
• Take responsibility for managing change, testing, and the release process in complex BI projects.

Your Profile

• Successful completion of bachelors/masters in informatics or economics or any other related field.
• Minimum 8-10 years of professional experience in data engineering and data analytics environment.
• Proven knowledge of databases and data modelling, with a focus on Microsoft technologies (Power BI, MS SQL).
• Professional experience in BI development with Microsoft Azure Services (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics).
• Additional knowledge in SAP Business Warehouse technologies such as SAP BW/4 HANA, SAP Business Planning & Consolidation or SAP Business Objects is a distinct advantage.
• Good English language skills.
• German language skills are a distinct advantage.
• Willingness to travel is an essential requirement for this role.
