We have an opportunity to join our IT Helpdesk team full time in Auckland, based in our Fanshawe street office. If you have great communication skills and enjoy working in a collaborative environment, we're keen to get you working alongside our fun and supportive team where you will be given in-house training on the job. You will be a key part of our Technology team; working with down-to-earth experts and developing your own expertise as an IT Helpdesk technician at T+T.

Ka aha koe | What you'll be doing

  • First-response support - You'll be the first point of contact for IT issues, prioritizing walk-ups, urgent calls, and tickets where users are blocked from doing their work. Your ability to triage and act quickly will keep our people productive.
  • Repairs and fixes - You'll be troubleshooting hardware including workstations, laptops, meeting room equipment, tablets, and printers, as well as installing and supporting a wide range of software products.
  • Problem solving - Our Helpdesk queries come in many forms; you'll need to prioritize your workload, use your initiative, and lean on various information sources including collaborating with the wider Technology team.
  • Initiating upgrades - You'll be deploying Windows on new computers and upgrading existing computers.
  • Building rapport and communicating - Our Helpdesk has great relationships with our employees. We put people at the center of what we do and pride ourselves on clear, friendly communication—whether in person, on the phone, via instant message, or email.
  • Proactive support - You'll help identify recurring issues and suggest improvements to reduce future disruptions, contributing to a more stable and efficient tech environment.

Na tōu rourou | What you'll bring

  • At least 2 years of internal IT Helpdesk experience in a medium to large organization.
  • A strong customer-first mindset—you're calm under pressure, empathetic, and focused on resolving issues that block people from doing their work.
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and a variety of mobile devices (iOS, Android).
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple requests effectively.
  • A collaborative approach—you're comfortable working with technical and non-technical colleagues alike.
  • Eligibility to work in New Zealand.
