About the role As the IT Delivery Manager, you will play a key role in designing and delivering solution to all of Riot's user groups through oversight and development of a team focused on integrating our critical ERP platforms (NetSuite, Epicor, ServiceNow) and internally developed technology into best-in-class business processes. You will work with nearly all departments - from accounting to operations to mining to business development, to help implement and scale these key platforms within our growing company. You will work with acquisition targets on due diligence and integration plans. And, most importantly, you will support and lift your staff members up so that they too grow with the business while ensuring all solutions you implement are compliant with internal policies and procedures and best practice. Essential Functions * Lead and develop a team of intelligent, thoughtful, motivated staff members to achieve Riot's objectives and ensure their continued professional growth and development. * Provide oversight and expertise on best practices for system configuration for financial systems and related processes. * Work closely with NetSuite implementation partners/stakeholders and ensure all installations, upgrades and integrations perform correctly. * Work closely with Epicor implementation partners/stakeholders and ensure all installations, upgrades and integrations perform correctly. * Work closely with ServiceNow implementation partners/stakeholders and ensure all installations, upgrades and integrations perform correctly. * Develop a strong relationship with our software development team and ensure tight coordination and seamless implementation of joint projects. * Develop training materials and coordinate and conduct training with new users. * Develop and oversee processes for testing and deployment of new features and functionality across our platforms. * Be a business-minded thought leader; driving development requirements towards best practice and industry standards. * Assist Riot departments and your team members with data analysis, reporting needs, and support for optimization of existing tools including recommendations for improvement. * Troubleshoot problems including system interface/integration issues. * Facilitate the seamless integration of new features with existing IT Support and Infrastructure processes, policies, and procedures * Serve as a backup for all your team members for key systems and processes and hold the administrator credentials for ERP systems (leveraging CyberArk). * Communicate cross functionally and develop long-term, sustainable technical solutions to satisfy requirements. * Identify and assist in the development of your team's core competencies, technical competencies, and professional skills through direct mentorship, training courses, certifications and team development. * Engage with team and cross-functional business partners regarding business strategy and objectives for automating and optimizing processes. * Identify, suggest, and implement technology solutions to optimize business processes and system performance. * Ensure compliance with internal IT General Controls in user provisioning, roles setup, system monitoring, change management, and developing and maintaining policies and procedures. * Provide audit support including system reconciliations, generating reports, developing documentation, and performing completeness and accuracy checks. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities * Financial System experience (Oracle EBS, NetSuite, Epicor preferred) * Financial System certification or equivalent experience * System Administrator-level knowledge of best practices in roles, permissions, page layouts, custom objects, scripting, workflows, reports, saved searches, dashboards, and forms to manage unique business process requirements within NetSuite. * In depth knowledge of data warehousing, data integration platforms and best practices, reporting and software development life cycle. * Strong knowledge of key financial processes and general knowledge of accounting systems and processes. * Project management capabilities and experience. * Excellent interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building. * Proactive desire to develop a detailed understanding of system structure, functionality, and control. * Detailed understanding of core business processes (accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial reporting, general ledger, purchasing and fulfillment, invoicing, taxes, payroll, expense tracking). * Understanding of accounting principles and experience communicating with internal and external audit functions. * Adaptability and enthusiasm for new challenges, innate curiosity, and a passion for learning. * Ability to work both independently and deliver on responsibilities within a highly collaborative and growing environment. * Ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of individuals and audiences. * Detail-oriented with focus on accuracy. * Must have great organizational and analytical skills. Education and Experience * Bachelor's degree in (MIS, IT business/computer science and/or Accounting), or related field. * 5+ years of experience of hands-on financial system experience (such as implementation or administration); experience within a publicly traded company is highly preferred. * Prior experience in the respective business processes (accounting, operations, IT) preferred. * Experienced in working across departments to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
