The Corporate Engineering team builds/provides services and infrastructure that allow our Bricksters to be successful. To accomplish this the team is dedicated to ensuring that the underlying infrastructure is running smoothly and that systems and tools are working as expected. As an Automation / Cloud Infra Engineer, you will join a team that works diligently to understand and solve the most challenging problems through Automation. You will learn the basics of cloud and supporting infrastructure such as AWS, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines as foundations that are used for automation use cases. You will also get a chance to see how Corporate Engineering works closely with the business to develop automations. You will see how the corporate engineering Infrastructure team works with relevant stakeholders to translate their requirements into secure solutions, balancing security and usability. The impact you will have: * Assist Infrastructure team while we roll out automation and infra that will keep Databricks' service resilient and stakeholders effective at their work. * Assist in the development of micros services deployed on Kubernetes and or Lambda to drive automation. * Test new features and provide feedback. * Learn the basics of cloud infrastructure, devops and operating infrastructure at scale with automation. What we look for: * 2+ years of relevant experience and a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related subject * Experience with Terraform and/or Python. * An ability to think from the end-users' perspective, analyze and suggest improvements. * You are excited to solve ambiguous problems with a collaborative team.
