IT Business/Systems Analyst – III
Well established and growing semiconductor manufacturer is adding an IT Business/Systems Analyst – III to their team. Expand your skills working with our tenured team of professionals!
This role will be leading efforts for a “Cloud Modernization" of our web-based applications
- This is a new project but the efforts are a continuation of the work we completed last year. We moved all of our infrastructure to the AWS cloud last year and are now are going back to modernize these applications/efforts
- Will work in a "Lead Role" capacity and will have a lot of collaboration with our third party development partner who handles some of our engineering
- Expect a lot of testing, as we have some automation test suites, but the majority of the testing will be in a manual capacity
TEAM: our current team members wear multiple hats around Business Analysis, Project Management and Scrum Master
- Utilize JIRA for project work and SharePoint as a documentation repository
ROLE: hybrid Scrum Master/PM/BA role working 3 days/week onsite at our Phoenix area facility
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
- Facilitate Scrum Ceremonies, although will be acting as more of a PM running daily standing ups and managing the backlog. Must have experience with best practices around Agile and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- There is not a Product Owner on the IT side, so this role will be interacting with business owners on testing, etc. Employee will ideally have experience with requirements gathering around testing; however he/she will not be meeting with the business to gather requirements because these are existing applications/requirements. Working with other BAs to document functionality – will involve coordination and working with SMEs on the team, a lot of documentation and pulling together/organizing test cases, helping lead testing efforts, and collaborating with internal and external parties
- Will act as a liaison between our teams and third party, while also documenting test scenarios so they can be combined and put into a proper test plan. Will coordinate with third party PM
- Needs a strong PM background (defined PM as ‘oversees larger plan, communicates status updates with key stakeholder’) but also needs strong Scrum Master (defined SM as ‘facilitating scrum ceremonies, ensuring dependencies are tracked’)
- Much more important to have experience with Web-based applications and Cloud vs Semiconductor experience
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience and a solid hybrid Business Analyst/Project Management/Scrum Management background – ideally has come from a BA background and moved into a PM role
- Experience working in an Agile environment and with Agile methodology, specifically Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Web-based application experience
- Cloud experience is ideal (AWS preferred)
- JIRA experience is ideal
- Enterprise-level experience preferred
- CSM or Scrum Master certification highly preferred; PMP a plus
- Bachelors degree
- CSM highly preferred; PMP a small plus; no Cloud certification needed
