Position: IT Auditor - Internal (all genders)

Location: Köln (hybrid)

Estimated Salary: 80.000-95.000€* base + 10% bonus

Hours: 40/week

Languages: fluent German & English (C1+)

About the Company

Our client is an established bank-independent asset manager in the financial services sector with over 300 employees, serving a broad base of private clients. Their aim is to safeguard and grow our clients’ assets in a sustainable, long-term manner.

To support their internal audit function, our client is looking for a collaborative and motivated individual to join their team and contribute to ongoing organizational development.

Your Responsibilities

• Independently plan and execute audits with a focus on IT systems and related processes
• Prepare clear documentation and reports outlining audit findings and recommendations
• Work jointly with audit colleagues on broader internal reviews
• Help improve audit methodologies and frameworks
• Contribute to enhancing business processes across departments

Your Profile

• Education: Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field
• Experience: Initial experience in IT auditing, preferably within the financial or investment sector
• Knowledge: Solid understanding of IT systems and familiarity with relevant regulatory standards
• Languages: Fluent in German and proficient in English (C1+)
• Additional Skills: Strong communication, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach to learning and teamwork

The audit function provides independent and objective evaluations across all business units. Through regular audits and feedback, the team supports risk management and continuous improvement within the organization.
