What will you do?

We have built up a competency that focuses on IT asset & configuration management and leverages ITIL v4 practices, the ServiceNow Common Service Data Model (CSDM), and its underpinning Configuration Management Data Base (CMDB). As CSDM and the CMDB are the foundation for the ServiceNow platform and utilized across many modules and processes, we foresee continuous growth in IT asset and configuration management business. Plat4mation is looking for both functional and technical consultants to grow its capability and competency in this area. That’s why we are looking for an IT Asset and Configuration Management Consultant who can guide customers in their journey to improve IT data quality and implement a CSDM-based CMDB according to our best practices.

Scope of work:

• Collaborate closely within project teams to provide vital support in the delivery of cutting-edge IT asset & configuration management solutions.
• Harness your insights and experience to drive innovation within the IT asset & configuration management domain, contributing to the development of new offerings.
• Create and maintain valuable marketing, sales, and delivery assets aimed at enhancing opportunity development and project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
• Engage proactively in pre-sales activities, partnering with potential clients to understand their unique needs and propose customized solutions.
• Craft compelling marketing materials that effectively showcase our capabilities and expertise in IT asset & configuration management.
• Facilitate internal training sessions to empower fellow team members with knowledge and skill enhancement.
• Foster and nurture meaningful relationships with strategic partners, including ServiceNow and other key industry players.

What we ask of you:

• Fluent in English; Fluent in Dutch is a big plus.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT and Business (e.g., setting up/changing processes, delivering IT solutions, and/or managing IT processes).
• Good conceptual understanding of the decomposition of IT landscapes (application, infrastructure, and network).
• Good understanding of ITIL and IT4IT.
• Knowledge of and experience designing and implementing Configuration Management capabilities.
• Knowledge of and experience with ServiceNow CMDB / ITOM (Discovery / Service Mapping).
• Experience with TBM or the definition of (Business) Services is a plus.
• As a Trusted Advisor, you create and maintain effective customer relationships with all stakeholders and adjust your communication accordingly.
• You can make a fast analysis of different solutions and relate these to the customer, examining, listening, qualifying, and resolving concerns or obstacles logically, emphasizing the solutions or services that will deliver maximum benefit.
