As an IT Architect at Colruyt Group, you play a key role in the design of our IT infrastructure and application landscape. Your decisions form the outlines with which your fellow analysts and developers set to work. The ideal job for IT professionals with a taste for innovation.

What do you do as an IT architect?

  • You will design IT solutions that meet the functional and non-functional requirements of the client and are in line with the enterprise IT and reference architecture.
  • You will help build our application landscape consisting of on premise and cloud applications, packaged solutions and in-house development.
  • You further develop our reference architecture according to your client's needs and in synchronisation with the general IT evolutions.
  • You monitor the realisation of the solution you have worked out.
  • You document architecture decisions.
  • You contribute to the architecture governance by collaborating in the necessary governance processes and/or by participating in the existing governance boards.

You will work in Halle, Haasrode, Mechelen or Zwijnaarde and you can work from home 3 days a week.


Profile:

  • Knowledge and experience – You have a master's degree or equivalent experience. In addition, you have at least 5 years of experience as an IT Architect. Knowledge of EA modelling languages and frameworks, such as Archimate and TOGAF, is a plus.
  • Conceptual ability – Your designs start from a concept: your client wants to achieve a goal or has a problem. You listen and think along with them. Then you come up with concrete solutions.
  • Client-oriented – The client's interests always come first. You give your client well-founded advice and dare to make decisions in complex situations.
  • Communicative – You communicate fluently and know how to convince others through your commitment, assertiveness, and accessibility.
  • Language skills – You speak Dutch or French and English. This allows you to communicate easily with everyone, including your colleagues in India.
