About The Job

Louis Vuitton Americas is seeking an IS&T Manager – Logistics & Transportation to join the LV_NEO team. This leader will manage the maintenance and support of the critical Logistics & Transportation applications.

This includes troubleshooting issues, implementing updates, ensuring system stability, and collaborating with other teams to optimize performance within the Louis Vuitton (Distribution Center/Warehouse) environment.

Job responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage the maintenance and support of the Logistics and Transportation applications
  • WMS Solution
  • Transportation Management System
  • Distribution Center Technologies (Robotics Solution, RFID, RF Devices, Warehouse Dimensioning System)
  • Integration between all the systems within the overall business system landscape
  • Project management and implementation of Logistics and Transportation projects
  • Partner with the Logistics business leadership to set priorities and streamline improvements to core logistics processes (B2B replenishment, e-commerce and retail order fulfillment, inbound processing, transportation/carrier management, and inventory management)
  • Be the key point of contact for all Distribution / Logistics business users.
  • Provide Level 3 support for all managed applications
  • Build strong partnership with Central IT and zone counterpart to ensure the maintenance of the WW core applications.

Application Management

  • Responsible for the overall support of Logistics and Transportation Applications
  • Represent LVA in worldwide community (Central and other zones) for Logistics and Transportation topics
  • Act as key point of contact for business teams in relation to Logistics and Transportation Applications
  • Owns monitoring of production support teams for the warehouse management system, transportation management system, Distribution Center technologies and all integration (EAI/ETL/Control M/API) in this domain
  • Master the application impacts to core logistics business processes such as B2B Replenishment, E-Commerce, retail order fulfillment, inbound processing, inventory management, and internal warehouse movements.
  • Execute setup and configurations within the WMS to support business initiatives and projects
  • Perform configuration and deliver customized solutions within our Transportation Management Solution
  • Proficient (or a least comfortable) with programming languages (SQL) and development methodologies
  • Contributor to the application management planning by incorporating user experiences and best practices to propose future enhancements
  • Participate to frequent touch points with Logistics and Transportation business teams to ensure application management service level agreements are being met
  • Define and apply the security policy related to the applications in the Logistics and Transportation scope

Project Management

  • Lead new projects, both large and small, within the Logistics and Transportation domain.
  • Create and maintain project plans for Logistics and Transportation projects such as Software customizations, upgrades, implementation of new modules, and new business functions.
  • Enforce proper testing methodology & develop tests scripts in partnership with the key business users.
  • Define and apply the security policy related to these applications. Participate in functional and integration testing;

Business Analysis

  • Act as an internal consultant by partnering with department heads and key users to define project scope and requirements;
  • Document business processes and associated IT processes;
  • Work with Central Solutions teams to validate scope and review priorities
  • Act as subject matter expert regarding all Logistics and Transportation initiatives.

Profile

  • Business Acumen: 5-7 years of IS&T experience, coupled with a strong understanding of supply chain and logistics processes. Prior experience as a business analyst or consultant.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Warehouse Management Systems, Transportation Management Systems, Integration Tools, and other Distribution Center Technologies.
  • Project Management & Analysis: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and apply strong analytical skills to business challenges.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills; adept at fostering open dialogue and collaboration through empathy and self-awareness. Effective skills developed through consulting experience.
  • Adaptability & Independence: Ability to thrive in dynamic environments, manage changing expectations, and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Language Skills: French proficiency (preferred)

The appointed candidate will be offered a salary within USD $140,000-145,000 annually, a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discounts/perks and two retirement plans both with employer contributions.

This position requires 4 days per week on site in the Louis Vuitton Corporate Office, located in the heart of Midtown, Manhattan.
