IP Litigation Attorney
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled IP Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in intellectual property law, particularly in patent litigation, and will be responsible for advising and representing clients in complex IP disputes. This role requires a combination of legal expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to understand technical aspects of inventions and technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in intellectual property litigation cases, including patent disputes.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various IP issues.
- Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Develop case strategies and provide legal advice to clients.
- Collaborate with technical experts and engineers to understand the details of the technology involved in cases.
- Negotiate settlements and handle alternative dispute resolution processes.
- Stay updated on relevant IP laws, regulations, and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in relevant jurisdictions.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IP litigation, particularly patent law.
- Strong understanding of software engineering and related technologies.
- Experience with USPTO processes and procedures.
- Background in life sciences or semiconductor industries is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
