About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated IoT Platform Support Engineer to join our dynamic Connectivity team. This role is responsible for the administration, troubleshooting, and support of Client’s IoT platform to ensure seamless operation, connectivity, and integration within our enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in IoT technologies, system administration, and technical support of IoT devices and platforms within a medical, manufacturing, or industrial setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for connected IoT devices, applications, and integrations.
• Monitor system performance, diagnose issues, and apply necessary patches or updates to connected IoT devices.
• Assist in the configuration, deployment, and optimization of the IoT platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful IoT solution implementations.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including best practices and troubleshooting guides.
• Support integration with third-party and enterprise systems such as SAP.
• Ensure security compliance and system reliability for IoT applications.
• Participate in incident management and root cause analysis for platform-related issues.
• Provide training and guidance to end users and other technical teams as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in IoT platform administration, support, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of IoT architecture, data modeling, and industrial connectivity.
• Experience with JavaScript, SQL, REST APIs, and web-based technologies.
• Knowledge and experience with cloud computing technologies and managing SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS cloud service models.
• Strong problem-solving, decision making, communication and collaboration skills with the ability to think strategically
• Excellent communication and documentation skills with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
• Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels in the organization and with external vendors.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices for IoT environments.

Required ThingWorx Capabilities:

• Hands-on experience in:
• ThingWorx backend, SDKs, RESTFull APIs development
• Foundation Server, Connection Server, Edge Microserver
• Axeda agents
• ThingWorx based GUI development

Preferred Qualifications:

• PTC ThingWorx certification or equivalent experience.
• Prior experience working in a large-scale enterprise or industrial IoT setting.
• Prior experience with medical device or regulated environments.
• Experience with RESTFul API technologies.
• JavaScript experience.
