Contract to Hire

Hybrid in Dallas (Irving, TX 75063)

Our retail client is seeking a skilled iOS Developer to support both legacy and modern iOS applications that serve millions of customers through eCommerce, loyalty, and product discovery experiences. You’ll contribute to the maintenance and sunsetting of the existing app while helping build the next-generation platform using modern iOS technologies. This is a hands-on development role focused on delivering elegant, high-quality mobile experiences using Swift, SwiftUI, and reactive programming.

Responsibilities

• Design and build robust, user-facing iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Contribute to both the legacy iOS app and the development of the new platform.
• Leverage RxSwift for reactive data handling and responsive UI updates.
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to create seamless and performant mobile experiences.
• Take ownership of urgent or high-priority technical issues and implement quick resolutions as needed.
• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code; perform code reviews and help uphold high development standards.
• Participate in architecture and tech stack discussions as the team transitions to the new app.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Proficient in Swift and well-versed in SwiftUI.
• Hands-on experience with RxSwift or similar reactive programming frameworks.
• Solid understanding of modern architectural patterns (e.g., MVVM, modular architecture).
• Comfortable working with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing tools.
• Strong debugging skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.

Nice to Have

• Experience building both consumer-facing and retail-facing mobile apps.
• Exposure to GraphQL APIs and integration best practices.
• Familiarity with analytics tools such as Adobe, RudderStack, or Google Analytics.
• Experience in agile teams or startup/fast-paced environments.
• Familiarity with localization tools like Applanga.
