LHH is partnering with a family office in the Washington DC Baltimore market in their search for a Performance Reporting Analyst. The family office is committed to investing in a wide array of asset classes, utilizing various investment strategies, such as fund investments, direct investments, and secondary investments.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and manage sophisticated financial models to support corporate financial planning and client portfolio management.
• Develop client proposals that effectively showcase the firm's value proposition.
• Produce detailed client reports that provide a comprehensive overview of their financial plans.
• Assess and communicate investment performance, ensuring accuracy and clarity in all reports.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial modeling and reporting processes.
• Assist the investment team in overseeing investment portfolios and making decisions based on performance analysis and market trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Statistics, or a related field.
• 4-6+ years of relevant experience in asset management or a related industry.
• Preference for candidates with or pursuing professional designations such as CFA, CAIA, or CFP.
• Strong understanding of investment management principles and practices.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial modeling.
• In-depth knowledge of investment performance measurement methodologies, including Modified Dietz, geometric and arithmetic returns, time-weighted returns, and IRR.
• Proficiency in using FactSet for investment analysis and reporting.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
