Korn Ferry has partnered with our client on their search for the role, Investment Operations Analyst.


Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Investment Operations Analyst to support our investment operations team. This role is integral to ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our investment processes, including trade settlement, cash management, and portfolio reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of investment operations, and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments.​


Key Responsibilities

  • Trade Support & Settlement: Coordinate and monitor trade settlements across multiple asset classes, ensuring timely and accurate execution.​
  • Cash Management: Manage daily cash flows, including monitoring cash balances, processing wires, and forecasting liquidity needs.
  • Reconciliation: Perform daily and monthly reconciliations of investment accounts, resolving discrepancies with custodians and internal records.​
  • Reporting: Prepare and distribute regular investment reports, including performance summaries and compliance reports, to internal stakeholders.​
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance operational workflows and implement best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.​
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all investment activities comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements; maintain comprehensive documentation for audit purposes.​


Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.​
  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in investment operations, fund accounting, or a similar role within the financial services industry.​
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with investment accounting systems and portfolio management software is a plus.​
  • Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to analyze complex data sets and identify discrepancies.​
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with internal teams and external partners.​
  • Certifications: Pursuit or attainment of relevant certifications such as CFA or CIPM is advantageous.​
