Summary

About the Role

We are seeking a driven investment professional with hands-on experience in the renewable energy sector to support our investment and fund management processes. This role plays a critical part in identifying high-potential assets, supporting acquisition and exit strategies, and engaging with capital markets — all within the context of clean energy and sustainable infrastructure investments.

Key Responsibilities

Investment & Fund Management Support

  • Build and manage a project pipeline by leveraging relationships with renewable energy developers (e.g., solar, wind, storage)
  • Evaluate asset proposals through return analysis, financial modeling, and due diligence — including collaboration with the Development team for project feasibility, permitting status, and technical assessments
  • Lead the drafting and updating of Investment Committee (IC) memos through acquisition, operational, and exit phases
  • Maintain communication with developers post-IC for regular updates and risk tracking
  • Oversee asset-level liquidity planning and coordinate with internal finance teams to manage cash needs
  • Support execution of post-IC activities: compile legal and governance documents with Legal/Compliance teams and manage internal approval processes

Fundraising & Capital Strategy

  • Identify and engage with potential equity and debt investors for asset-level or platform-level fundraising
  • Gather technical and performance data from development partners to support investor conversations
  • Work with senior leadership and investor relations to prepare pitchbooks and materials tailored to renewable energy asset performance

Other Responsibilities

  • Assist in marketing initiatives and investor communications
  • Recommend process enhancements to improve investment tracking and cross-functional collaboration
  • Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Environmental Studies, or related field; Master’s degree or CFA/CPA a plus
    • Over 5 years of experience in renewable energy investments, project finance, or infrastructure fund management
    • Strong financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence skills specific to energy projects
    • Familiarity with renewable energy technologies (solar, wind, storage) and key project metrics (IRR, PPA terms, LCOE, capacity factors)
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for working with both internal teams and external partners
    • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with financial tools (e.g., Argus, PVSyst, or similar) a plus
    • Business-level English required; additional languages (e.g., Japanese or Southeast Asian languages) are a plus
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-border investment environment with a strong interest in sustainability and clean energy transitions
