We are seeking an organized, diligent, and responsible inventory/cost controller to join our growing team. In this position, you will manage inventory. Your primary objective will be to maintain adequate levels of stock to meet daily distribution demands while minimizing excess supply, limits waste and practice precise budget control. Applicant must have relevant experience in the same field and with account background. Duties: Oversee inventory and supply chain management according to company procedures Perform critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct number of items are in stock Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory, including transfers and cycle counts Review documentation and monitor product discrepancies; troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures in order to maximize efficiency and cut operations costs Qualifications: Minimum of one year of related experience in retail, hospitality industry cost control Proficient with computers and other standard office technology Applies cost effective methods to both the purchase and pricing of food, using accurate budget control. Cost control /limits waste, due to planning ahead and ordering the correct stock levels required.
