We are looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Inventory Planning & Control Manager to take our inventory management to the next level! If you have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 3-5 years of experience in inventory planning within a manufacturing environment, we want to hear from you!
Location: Lewisville, TX
Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 DOE
Hybrid Schedule: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote
Schedule: Full-Time
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Inventory Management & Optimization
* Oversee and manage the Inventory Cycle Count Program across all plants.
Ensure accurate inventory levels and proactively plan for spare part stocking.
Conduct quarterly confirmations of Field Stock Consignment Inventory.
Handle import/export certifications (USMCA, Affidavit of Manufacture, Certificates of Origin).
* Financial & Audit Compliance
* Reconcile inventory accounts to the General Ledger.
Collaborate with finance on inventory valuation, COGS, and monthly close processes.
Prepare quarterly inventory reports for internal and external audits.
* Process Improvement & Strategy
* Develop inventory forecasting models and control procedures.
Identify and implement cost-saving strategies within inventory operations.
Partner with Product Managers to manage slow-moving and obsolete spare parts.
Leadership & Collaboration
* Supervise and manage teams across multiple facilities (California & Texas).
* Lead hiring, training, and performance evaluations for the inventory department.
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Required - No Exceptions!)
* 3-5 years of experience as an Inventory Planner in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong SAP proficiency - you'll be the go-to expert!
* Solid understanding of supply chain concepts and inventory flow.
* Ability to analyze financial data and translate it into actionable inventory strategies.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) for reporting and data management.
* Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
* Competitive Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 DOE
