A leading distributor of pipeline products and services is seeking an Inventory Forklift Operator to support efficient material handling and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is a safety-conscious and detail-oriented professional with experience operating forklifts, overhead cranes, and handling industrial materials. Communicating professionally and effectively, the successful candidate will support daily operations by managing inventory, coordinating material handling, and addressing discrepancies while maintaining safety standards, adhering to procedures, and promoting overall efficiency.

Type of Position: Temp-to-Hire

Responsibilities

• Perform all functions as directed by Operation Asset Manager(s) or Operation Process Coordinator(s) in an efficient and safe manner. Follow systems and procedures outlined in the company directives.
• Contribute to the company's commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
• Comply with all Company and OSHA safety requirements. Keep the work area clean.
• Communicate professionally and effectively with customers, inspectors, and co-workers.
• For resolution of any process related issue, escalate each issue to your immediate supervisor.
• All employment or personnel related issues or questions should be directed to the HR office.
  
  

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Able to apply written instructions to workstation
• Overhead crane operation
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of tooling
• Regularly exposed to risk of electrical shock
• Working near moving mechanical parts
• Standing and/or for prolonged periods of time; Up to 8 hours or more per day
• Lifting of objects up to 25 lbs.
• Noise level is usually moderate to loud
• Fast-paced environment, subject to numerous schedule and priority changes and short notice activity
• Nights and weekends as required to meet critical ship dates
