Summary

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update inventory records in the system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
  • Perform regular stock reconciliation and cycle counts to identify discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure timely receiving, storage, and dispatch of inventory.
  • Work closely with procurement to track incoming shipments and update inventory accordingly.
  • Generate inventory reports and analyze trends to support decision-making.
  • Identify slow-moving or obsolete inventory and recommend action plans.
  • Ensure proper labeling, categorization, and organization of inventory in storage.
  • Assist in investigating and resolving inventory-related issues or discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to inventory management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in inventory management, preferably in an e-grocery or FMCG industry.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and stock movement processes.
  • Experience with ERP or inventory management software.
  • Understanding of demand forecasting and supply chain principles.
  • Knowledge of perishable goods inventory management.
