Job Summary

Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive Inventory Control Supervisor to join their fast-paced custom electronics manufacturing team. This role is critical to ensuring the efficient control, movement, and storage of materials, components, and finished goods throughout our operation. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, process-driven, and capable of managing inventory, shipping/receiving, and cross-functional logistics communication. Familarity with ISO standards is a bonus! This is a direct hire role located in Lake Forest, CA.

Responsibilities

  • Will be responsible for planning and implementing activities related to the control of materials, parts, components, and equipments.
  • Manages the logistics activities and related systems information in a manufacturing environment including all work orders and incoming materials.
  • Directs the activities of stock room and warehouse personnel to accomplish company objectivites.
  • Develops, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and material control systems, and/or for the operation of Inventory, kitting, shipping and receiving activities.
  • Ensures stockroom materials are ordered and in stock to meet company requirements, while maintining acceptable inventory levels.
  • Develops material schedules and coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering.
  • May assist with the establishment and maintenance of the supply chain monitoring process.
  • Additional actions may be required from time to time.
  • Performs outbound shipment packing and staging in accordance with site policies.
  • Pull kits as needed by the manufacturing group.
  • Verifies merchandise received against record of shipment, inspects and reports discrepancies and any obvious defects.
  • Support international and domestic product transportation to ensure that the shipped products can arrive at the destination safely, on time and without damage.
  • Qualified to drive and operate all warehouse equipment, including: Forklifts, Order Pickers, and Pallet Jacks, in a safe and effective manner, will train if needed.
  • Maintains record of import and export documentation.
  • Manages inventory stock levels and locations in the physical inventory locations and corresponding locations in the ERP system.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, physical space organization and cleanliness.
  • Conduct a cycle counting process between Physical Inventory and the ERP system as well as working with the warehouse manager to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Provides input geared towards continuous improvement, work instruction documentation, and standardization of processes.
  • Improve processes to address root causes of discrepancies, preventing recurrence.
  • Supply the production floor with needed materials.

  • Coordinate and communicate effectively across departments.
  • Any other task assigned by the Warehouse Manager.
