The primary focus of position is to maintain inventory and quality assurance of products. This position requires daily counting of inventory, with accuracy and timeliness being paramount. This position works in a highly dynamic environment, flexibility, and sound judgment are indeed crucial for success. Must be willing to work in various climate conditions and work well with others. Ensure that all products entering and leaving the warehouse facility are of high quality, through inspection and date management of merchandise.

• Quality Assurance
• Product Inspection
• Inspect inbound perishable products for quality.
• Communicate all quality issues, concerns, observations to buyers, category managers, and/or shippers.
• Inventory Management
  
  

• Make suggestions to management about possible solutions to out-of-stock inventory, damages, and all discrepancies.
• Participate in sessions to identify inventory issues and resolutions.
• Food Safety and regulatory compliance
• Adhere to quality compliance programs and specifications including HACCP, FDA, etc.
• Complete quality assurance processes and systems, as needed, for Corrective Actions and Recalls.
• Other duties as assigned.

• On the Job Experience
• 1 years of experience in food distribution industry, preferred.
• Interpersonal Skills - Must be able to work with multiple types of personalities in a fast-paced work environment.
• HACCP will provide upon hire if needed.
