Summary

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Systems Engineer to provide technical support focused on Microsoft 365 (M365) services and End User Computing (EUC). The role involves analyzing and resolving technical incidents and service requests, as well as handling escalated issues to ensure positive business outcomes.

You will be responsible for a range of tasks, including major incident management, problem and change management, service/process improvements, customer onboarding/offboarding, reporting, Windows OS and M365 application support, software/hardware installations, documentation maintenance, and EUC-related projects especially those involving M365.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance and recommendations on the use of Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Support M365 services including Exchange Online, MS Teams, OneDrive, Defender, Intune/Autopilot, SharePoint Online, and other M365 core tools.
  • Promote best practices and act as an advocate for M365 adoption and effective usage.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues; lead problem-solving efforts involving vendors and internal teams.
  • Perform administrative tasks in Azure Active Directory such as user/group management, security permissions, group policy settings, system configurations, and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with the service desk and support teams to resolve technical issues and identify root causes.
  • Create and maintain documentation and knowledge base articles for internal use.
  • Provide user training on M365 applications in an easy-to-understand, non-technical manner.
  • Act as the escalation point for internal helpdesk tickets related to M365.
  • Must have hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune and Autopilot.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform and Power Automate is an added advantage.
  • Support Windows OS and assist with desktop/laptop software and hardware issues when required.
  • Conduct hardware/software installations based on company and client requirements.
  • Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for EUC and M365-related issues as part of problem management.
  • Liaise with third-party vendors for support, maintenance, and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with the team and customers to ensure a high level of service satisfaction.
  • Serve as the point of contact for evaluating new workplace and endpoint management tools.
  • Participate in EUC-related transition projects and support the Transition Manager in executing end-to-end onboarding/offboarding processes.


Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Computer Science/IT.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in Microsoft 365 Technologies.
  • Experience in Microsoft Intune is a must (*Including Packaging, Deployment, Reporting, Troubleshooting, Policy creation, MS Patching).
  • Experience in supporting M365 user
  • MS Azure related certification (mandatory)
  • Ability to work independently under pressure to meet project timelines with quality work.
  • Possess knowledge in IT networking to troubleshoot computer 1st level networking problems
  • Possess IT skills in MS Windows, M365, desktop hardware and network environments
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal skills and customer oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Independent and results oriented
  • Willing to work on flexible schedule depending on business need
  • Ability to work non-deskbound and flexibility to travel to multiple sites as and when required.
