Job Description
As a trainee, you will become part of a forward-thinking team focused on transforming ways of working, fostering continuous improvement, and driving innovation. The team is responsible for developing and maintaining product tools and providing essential support for Mobile Networks across the global operations of Nokia. You'll collaborate with experienced professionals, gaining practical experience and contributing to impactful solutions that support cutting-edge mobile communications.
Position: Web Software Engineer Trainee
Duration: Part-time: 4h or 6h/day
Date: June 15st, 2025 to October 31th, 2025
Location: Hybrid in Timisoara, Romania
Education Recommendations: Currently a candidate for a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electronics;
How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Join a dedicated software development team working in an Agile environment within a dynamic, international setting
- Gain exposure to a variety of cutting-edge software technologies and frameworks such as JavaScript, CSS, HTML, .NET, Power BI, Python, MySQL, React, Angular, Node.js, MongoDB, Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps, and Robot Framework
- Receive continuous support to learn and grow your skills in new technologies
- Collaborate closely with R&D teams and quality managers on innovative projects
- Contribute to the creation of intellectual property, including potential patentable solutions focused on deployment automation
- Generate patents in the fields of new deployment that automate the process
Key Skills And Experience
Must have:
- Active student status in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field
- Genuine passion for software development, with consistent involvement in recent years
- Understanding of continuous delivery concepts
- Familiarity with code versioning and deployment tools (e.g., Git)
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of Django, PowerBI, Power Automate, Jenkins
- Familiarity with Linux and Shell Scripting
- Familiarity with GitLab
- Understanding of continuous integration practices
- Understanding of cloud platforms such as VMware or OpenStack
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Understanding of RESTful APIs
