Security Benefit is searching for a Tech Compliance Support Intern to join our team. SB associates are working a hybrid schedule with both remote and on-site work. This position will work in our home office in Topeka, Kansas or our Overland Park, Kansas office. Who Are We? What Does the Job Look Like? * Support audit readiness by performing tasks such as control testing, evidence collection, and documentation reviews. * Help reduce risk by contributing to timely and accurate execution of control, minimizing gaps during audit cycles. * Contribute to control improvement efforts by assisting with automation tasks, including creating evidence tracking templates and generating metrics. * Participating in control mapping exercises, documentation updates, and backlog reduction efforts to improve overall control maturity. * Support special projects as assigned. Who Are You? Students eligible for the internship will be current, full-time students available to work beginning immediately. The intern will be expected to work full-time over the summer. * Full-time student pursuing a degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Accounting, Data Analytics, or related field. * Available to work approximately 12-19 hours per week during the academic year and full-time during the summer; this is not a summer-only internship and may extend longer if the need allows. * Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint; familiarity with tools like Jira is a plus. * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; comfortable working with teammates at all levels of the organization. * Demonstrated attention to detail, organizational ability, and critical thinking. * Eagerness to learn, ability to handle multiple tasks, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
