Why join TCS Internship Program
The TCS Internship program is an 8–12-week program designed to develop emerging young leaders within the IT industry. TCS Interns do more than apply their knowledge, they contribute to authentic technology projects being handled by industry veterans within our TCS business units. Students currently in a computer science or other related IT academic program are given the opportunity be mentored by subject matter experts to gain applicable leadership and technology skills to help jumpstart their career in the IT industry. As a TCS intern, you will utilize your problem solving and critical thinking skills to support consulting/business projects, strategic initiatives, data analysis, and software development.

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Support development of ETL workflows using tools like Ab Initio GDE to ensure alignment with user requirements.
• Assist in data manipulation and analysis by writing queries to store, retrieve, and manage system data.
• Write and optimize queries using SQL and PLSQL.
• Work on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), especially with BigQuery (BQ), for cloud-based data solutions.
• Perform basic scripting tasks using UNIX shell scripting for automation and data tasks.
• Collaborate using Agile methodologies, contributing to sprints and stand-ups.
• Apply critical thinking and problem-solving in tasks and issue resolution.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment.
