Context:

While closely collaborating with the REACTOR PROCESS ENGINEER, you will be a part of our Engineering team, contributing to the design of one of our chemical reactors. You will participate and contribute to projects related to kinetic determination, analytical tests, and data treatment. Thus, you will help PRONOE achieve critical milestones in our technical and industrial project while gaining valuable, first-hand insights into entrepreneurship, sustainability, technology innovation.


Main Missions:

  1. Perform laboratory tests using chemical reactors.
  2. Conduct quantitative analytical testing of solutions (e.g., titration).
  3. Analyze experimental data, identify trends, and propose improvements.
  4. Report and present experimental results.


Education: Advanced student in chemical, process or mechanical engineering (or other degrees that require analytical skills).


Relevant Experience: Use of laboratory equipment and reactors, use of analytical tools, data treatment, kinetic determination, modelling (nice to have).


Relevant Industries: Water treatment, chemical production, environmental, wastewater treatment, food industry, and pharmaceutical industry.


Skills & Behaviors we expect:

  • Proficiency in scientific English, good writing, and oral communication skills are necessary.
  • Technical skills: experimental work, chemical engineering, Microsoft Office, use of software.
  • Autonomy, flexibility and adaptability are a must, together with a results-oriented mindset.
  • A pragmatic, autonomous, and rigorous individual with analytical and synthetical thinking.
  • An open-minded, humble, reliable and trustworthy team player.


Practicalities:

Position based in Les Loges-en-Josas (Paris area, France).

Compensation: 1000 €/month.

Duration: 4-6 months.

Approximate start date: from as early as September 2025 to February 2026.
