We have an opportunity for an **Internal Control Specialist** to join our Corporate team in Bucharest. **Location & Work Schedule** Location: 3 George Constantinescu / Bucharest, 020339 Work Schedule: 3 days onsite at office /2 days' work from home - (Must be able to work in the office 3 days a week, full remote is not an option) **Internal Control Specialist responsibilities:** + Controls design and management across the region/SOX compliance + US GAAP accounting compliance knowledge + Compliance over HON Enterprise Controllership policies and procedures - NSE's, Account Recs, design/coordination and completion of Balance Sheet Reviews + Help coordinate and complete internal/external audit procedures + Oversee remediation of audit/CAP (Corrective Action Plans) observations & ensure strong internal controls environment + Support Mergers & Acquisitions due diligence, purchase accounting and integration planning + Collaboration with tax and treasury on key priorities + Help ensure deployment of the contemporary finance operating model across entities in the region + Special projects as determined by the Regional Finance Leader **Qualifications:** + Experience within a similar role within accounting and or audit + Degree in finance or economics + Good communication skills both written and verbal + Fluency (both oral and written) in English + US-GAAP or IFRS Accounting knowledge required + Excellent proficiency in Standard Office Software, experience with standard ERP's is a plus + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills + Excellent time management, organization and prioritization skills + Initiative, positive attitude, self-starter, "getting-things-done" and "hands-on" attitude. + Critical thinking skills with good attention to detail + Project management skills would be an advantage + Ongoing or completed ACCA is a plus **We offer:** + Competitive Salary regularly increased based on your performance + Enjoy 25 vacation days per year, plus extra days off for life's special events + We provide meal vouchers + Flexible benefits basket with monthly budget allocated (top up medical insurance, life insurance, pension, vacation/ cultural/ fuel vouchers) + Medical Insurance Plan paid by the company + Christmas and Easter bonuses + Recognition & referral bonus programs + Comprehensive induction, ongoing training and development to set you up for success + In-house and external learning platforms (Udemy) to continue to expand your skills + Work experience opportunities to help you grow your career with us + Global employee networks to help you connect and grow + Employee Assistance Program - Free and confidential service to help with any difficulties regarding work, life and personal or family matters + In case of unfortunate events, we support you by offering you free days and financial support (handled on a case by case basis) or Family financial aids + Access Integrity line - Any workplace issues or violations that need to be raised in good faith, can be communicated in a safe, private and confidential environment + Your family is growing while working at Honeywell?
