The Manager, Internal Audit will oversee all aspects of the audit cycle, including risk assessment, planning, execution of audit procedures, and reporting. This individual will have expertise in internal controls, systems, processes, and financial reporting. This role is based out of Irvine, CA, and offers an opportunity to contribute to the organization’s financial integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage financial (and related systems) and operational audits across various organizational functions.
Identify process improvements and communicate these effectively to drive business performance and enhance audit approaches, sharing best practices globally.
Develop strong relationships with local management teams and stakeholders across the business.
Adjust communication styles as needed, ensuring clarity and relevance when interacting with different levels of management.
Utilize data analytics to evaluate large data sets for sampling or continuous monitoring purposes.
Ensure all audit projects are completed within timelines and meet acceptable audit standards.
Demonstrate expertise in audit skills, including working paper preparation, appropriate for the audit manager level.
Coordinate and communicate effectively with external auditors, such as Deloitte, when needed.
Adapt quickly to new situations, learning fast and adjusting audit approaches as required.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required.
Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in financial and operational auditing within a large company or top-tier business consulting firm ("Big 4") preferred.
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and/or Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or international equivalent preferred.
In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP and internal control frameworks.
High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) required.
