Purpose Statement
The Rich Products Corporation World Headquarters Internal Audit Department is seeking an intern who is highly motivated, detail-oriented, and customer-driven to join our team. The intern will assist the department by performing audit testing procedures to report on the adequacy of internal controls, the effectiveness of business operations, and develop recommendations to strengthen the controls over financial reporting or improving efficiency. Internal audits will be conducted on business operations, processes and systems of internal control, and will focus on domestic and international business units, subsidiaries and joint ventures, including operations in Asia, Europe, Latin America, and South Africa. This internship will begin in May 2025 and end in August 2025.
Key Accountabilities and Outcomes
Student will assist the Finance Shared Services & Internal Audit departments to:
* Coordinate with Rich's External Auditors with the year-end financial statement audit procedures
* Perform Continuous Monitoring control testing procedures to efficiently and effectively identify control weaknesses
* Plan and prepare pre-work for plant audits
* Utilize systems such as SAP (training provided by RPC) SharePoint, ChromeRiver and Microsoft Office Software
* Participate in discussions related to the development of audit procedures, engagement plans, and scope
* Perform special audits or assignments as requested
* Promote role of department as a positive resource for technical expertise and guidance on policies, control issues, and business risks
* Identification and realization of quantifiable and realizable cost-savings opportunities
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
* Be enrolled in an AACSB accredited college or university, working towards earning a B.S. or M.S. in Accounting, or pursuing an MBA degree preferred
* Ideal candidate is currently working towards their 150-credit hour requirement for the CPA exam
* 3.0 GPA or higher
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
* Comfortable with extracting, manipulating, and analyzing large amounts of data
* Must be able to work well both autonomously and with a team environment
* Demonstrate time management and organizational skills
* Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills required
COMPENSATION
In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.

$17.00 - $23.00
