We are currently looking for a new internship role for PLC Controls Intern for our Honeywell Intelligrated development team in Brno. In this role you will implement electrical projects for an integrated system or sub-system. The PLC Controls Intern takes a systems approach in understanding core design features, project elements, overall electrical architecture and executes the PLC Controls design and implementation of assigned systems and subsystems by following technical specifications and design guidelines. In this position you will perform a variety of product engineering work to support the life cycle of material handling units and equipment. Finally, you will get the chance to gain knowledge of what we do and become full member of our team who after studies can further develop his career in our company. Key responsibilities + Creating PLC programs and libraries for customer projects, HMI panels and libraries for Siemens HMI panels. + Support setup and execution of emulations and support onsite commissioning, test plans on-site, both internal and customer acceptance/BUAT/UAT/FAT + Monitors and works from project tasks lists and timelines; reports progress on a regular basis + Assists with storing turnover documentation in proper location + Contributes to test plans (Internal, In-House, Site, Commissioning, and Acceptance) + Collaborate with engineering teams **Your qualification & experiences** + University student of an engineering field - Automation, Electrical, Mechanical major + Knowledge of PLC programming, ideally Siemens PLC + Very good level of English language (B2-C2 or higher) + Self-motivated and able to work with little supervision. + Troubleshooting skills + Knowledge of any of the below is a huge advantage: applicable standards related to electrical engineering (UL, NFPA, safety of machinery), S7- Ladder, SCL/ST or Graph (For S7-1500 Controller) or C++/C#/Python **We offer** + Experienced leaders to support your professional development + International work environment + Clear pathways for advancement, regular feedback, and mentorship opportunities. + Access to training and certifications. + Flexible working arrangements and support for combining work with education. + Access to modern tools,technologies, and innovative work environments.
