We are currently hiring for an exciting opportunity as an Intern (m/f/d) – SIMULIA Software Engineer to join our R&D team.

Role Description & Responsibilities

• You will assist the SIMULIA Motion R&D team with implementing new features and investigating as well as fixing bugs in Simpack, a leading mutlibody simulation tool
• You will collaborate with other developers, UX designers and QA locally in Gilching, as well as worldwide across the company
• You will implement User Interfaces and connect with underlying data model and solver or maintain and enhance our 2D plotting and 3D rendering of models
• You will create and update automated tests
  
  

Qualifications

• You are currently studying Computer science or similar
• You have practical skills in C++ with newer standards like C++17 or higher
• You have experience with both Windows and Linux operating systems
• You are familiar with industry standard processes and tools for continuous integration, source code version control, build management, compile and linkage
• You have strong English communication skills (German is a Plus)
• Practical experience with gitlab, Jira, cmake, gcc MSVC, Qt is a Plus
