Job Description
We are seeking are seeking a summer intern in our East Granby, CT facility. The Mechanical Engineer Intern will provide mechanical and/or controls engineering support for daily production tasks, including assisting manufacturing and development operations. The successful individual will be able to balance a wide variety of responsibilities that includes hands-on and analytical work. Responsibilities would include:
- Support daily troubleshooting activities
- Work with engineering and process team to support mechanical design work for key projects
- Work with equipment engineering team to conduct preventative maintenance and support activities such as spare parts organization
- Apply mechanical, electrical and/or controls related skill sets to support business initiatives
Education/Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls Engineering or other related degree.
- 100% on-site access
- Hands-on experience operating equipment and tools
- Proficiency with standard desktop software (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Excellent communication skills.
- Self-motivated, driven personality
- Must work well in teams
