Summary

Primary Duties & Responsibilities * Responsible for optical setups and alignments of the electro optical assemblies * Proposed design solutions and validation methods for efficient high speed transceivers and components Education & Experience * BS/MS degree and pursuing PhD degree. * Strong communications skills, both written and verbal * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Skills * Strong interpersonal, teaming, and problem-solving skills. * Work effectively with other members of Coherent Corp. Working Conditions * This position is onsite * Regular use of a computer and other office equipment is necessary Physical Requirements * Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer or conducting meetings. * Use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents. * Occasional lifting of objects or materials up to 20 pounds for administrative tasks. * Ability to communicate verbally and in writing. * Mobility within the office environment to attend meetings or interact with colleagues.
