Summary

We are looking for a proactive and organized Facilities Management Intern to join our Colombo office. This internship offers hands-on experience in managing day-to-day facility operations and supporting a well-functioning, safe, and efficient work environment for our growing software team.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in overseeing daily office operations to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient working environment
  • Support maintenance and servicing of office infrastructure, equipment, and facilities
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers for facility-related needs (e.g., cleaning, repairs, utilities)
  • Monitor inventory and procurement of office supplies and consumables
  • Help implement health, safety, and security protocols
  • Maintain facility records and assist in documentation and reporting
  • Support logistics for internal events, meetings, and team activities
  • Assist in onboarding facility-related aspects for new hires
  • Provide general administrative support to the Operations team


Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Facilities Management, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Good communication skills in English and Sinhala
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
