Your Challenge
Azimuth has an opening for an intermediate Hydrogeologist/Engineer with strong technical and communication skills. We are seeking a team member with experience in hydrogeological assessments, private site servicing, and/or environmental site assessments. The selected candidate will have strong technical reporting skills, commitment to detailed review of all output, and will contribute to a positive team environment.
Your Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
· Preparation of technically accurate, concise, and well written proposals and reports;
· Project coordination and execution of investigative programs, including some in-field presence;
· Flexibility in supporting multiple disciplines, and interest in learning new areas of practice;
· Mentorship of junior staff, and ability to be mentored by senior personnel for career growth;
Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited institution;
· Registered practitioner in Ontario (P.Geo. or P.Eng.), or eligibility to obtain such a designation;
· Relevant experience of 4-6+ years in hydrogeological assessments supporting land development, private site
servicing design, and/or environmental site assessments. Candidates with experience solely in one or two of
these disciplines will be considered if they are interested in expanding their knowledge base;
· Must be able to demonstrate strong technical report writing abilities and attention to detail;
· An understanding of applicable environmental regulations and guidelines, including OWRA, MECP design
guidelines for drinking water & sewage, Conservation Authority and municipal water balance guidelines, Ontario
Regulation 153/04, D-4 guideline, and/or Ontario Regulation 406/19 are all considered assets for this position.
