Sword Services Greece is looking for an Intermediate Application Developer to join our international Software Development team. The successful candidate will work in a multinational environment, supporting large-scale IT systems that drive operational efficiency and digital transformation.

This role requires expertise in software development, system architecture, and process optimization. You will be responsible for developing enterprise applications, analyzing business needs, configuring cloud-based solutions, automating workflows, and ensuring optimal system performance.

What You Will Do...

• Design, prototype, develop, and test .NET based web applications, aligned with business priorities and ICT best practices;
• Implement and configure components including source code, software architecture, design patterns, and SQL Server database schemas;
• Ensure seamless deployment through CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and cloud-based infrastructure (Azure App Services);
• Implement the final UI/UX design using responsive web technologies, ensuring alignment with visual and usability standards;
• Apply application security mitigation measures and maintain patching protocols to enhance software security posture;
• Conduct code reviews and technical validations across project deliverables;
• Design, develop, and test system integrations via Web APIs and third-party platforms;
• Coordinate with the broader ICT Team to align development approaches with enterprise architecture standards;
• Produce and maintain complete technical documentation, including architecture overviews, operational guides, and user manuals.

What Is Your Experience...

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field;
• Minimum 4 years of experience in software development with a strong focus on:
• .NET (C#) development and object-oriented programming
• Microsoft SQL Server, including stored procedures and performance troubleshooting
• Microsoft Azure App Services and cloud infrastructure
• CI/CD processes, using Azure DevOps or similar platforms
• Front-end development experience with:
• JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js or React)
• Web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, XML, JavaScript, Bootstrap)
• UI frameworks and third-party libraries (Telerik, DevExpress, jQuery)
• Experience working with Web APIs, systems integration, and PowerShell scripting.
