Transformation Manager – Global Finance Operations

Type: Fixed Term Contract – 18 months

A global organisation is seeking a Transformation Manager to play a pivotal role in its finance operations, based within its Newcastle Shared Services Centre. This is a leadership opportunity to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across international finance delivery teams.

About the Role

As Transformation Manager, you’ll report to the Head of Shared Services and be responsible for leading initiatives that improve processes, standardise operations, and align delivery between two global finance hubs. This role requires strong experience in finance transformation, change management, and stakeholder engagement across diverse teams.

You’ll oversee a portfolio of process improvement initiatives, working closely with operational leaders to ensure outcomes are efficient, scalable, and globally consistent. This includes building governance frameworks, driving accountability, and managing cross-functional project teams.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Championing and embedding continuous improvement across finance delivery teams.
• Leading initiatives that align operations across multiple geographies.
• Building and maintaining transformation governance, planning, and risk management frameworks.
• Facilitating team workshops and leading reviews that shape strategic transformation.
• Tracking progress, surfacing key insights, and managing corrective actions when needed.
• Maintaining detailed project documentation and clear reporting to leadership.
