What You Will Be Doing

• Independently evaluate, organise and prioritise work.
• Familiarize with the contract, our contractual obligations and scope specific requirements.
• Learn and understand the use of relevant project specific interface management tools.
• Assist interface Manager in managing interfaces with the client and other SLS Contractors.
• Assist the Interface Manager in managing all aspects of the design and construction interface and cooperation internally within the project team.
• Participate in all levels of interface meetings and record meeting minutes, and develop reports and presentation materials for all interface related meetings as needed
• Updating and maintaining the interface responsibility matrix and coordination with the design and construction teams
• Monitor and review the developments of Interface Control Documents
• Review submittals for completion and compliance with the PA requirements.
• Must be able to assist design and construction when information is requested.
• Assist Interface Manager in other tasks as required.
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• Possession of a technical degree or diploma (or equivalent) in either a mechanical, electronic or electrical discipline.
• Eligibility for registration with either OACETT or PEO is desirable
• Minimun ten years of experience
• Design experience as asset , not mandatory
• Must be efficient at closing issues to make the project progress in a timely fashion.
• Must be able to work under stress and multitask with various priorities and disciplines.
• Should be familiar with working in a construction environment
• Must be able to deal with competing priorities and manage their time appropriately.
• Able to plan, lead and record results of meetings and toolbox briefings.
• Must be organized and disciplined.
