What You Will Be Doing
Independently evaluate, organise and prioritise work.
Familiarize with the contract, our contractual obligations and scope specific requirements.
Learn and understand the use of relevant project specific interface management tools.
Assist interface Manager in managing interfaces with the client and other SLS Contractors.
Assist the Interface Manager in managing all aspects of the design and construction interface and cooperation internally within the project team.
Participate in all levels of interface meetings and record meeting minutes, and develop reports and presentation materials for all interface related meetings as needed
Updating and maintaining the interface responsibility matrix and coordination with the design and construction teams
Monitor and review the developments of Interface Control Documents
Review submittals for completion and compliance with the PA requirements.
Must be able to assist design and construction when information is requested.
Assist Interface Manager in other tasks as required.
What We Are Looking For
Possession of a technical degree or diploma (or equivalent) in either a mechanical, electronic or electrical discipline.
Eligibility for registration with either OACETT or PEO is desirable
Minimun ten years of experience
Design experience as asset , not mandatory
Must be efficient at closing issues to make the project progress in a timely fashion.
Must be able to work under stress and multitask with various priorities and disciplines.
Should be familiar with working in a construction environment
Must be able to deal with competing priorities and manage their time appropriately.
Able to plan, lead and record results of meetings and toolbox briefings.
Must be organized and disciplined.
