Job Title : Teradata Developer

Experience : 4+ years

Location - Bengaluru / Gurgaon / Hyderabad (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities

Database Design & Development :

• Design, develop, and maintain logical and physical database structures for data warehousing solutions using Teradata.
  
  

ETL Development & Optimization

• Design and develop ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into the Teradata environment.
• Optimize ETL workflows to improve performance and ensure data accuracy.
• Implement best practices for data indexing, partitioning, and parallelism within Teradata.
  
  

Data Integration

• Integrate data from various sources and systems into the Teradata platform.
  
  

Data Warehousing & Reporting

• Develop and maintain data warehouse structures, ensuring effective data management and accessibility.
• Monitor the performance of Teradata systems and recommend Skills & Qualifications :
• 4+years of experience in data engineering or Teradata development.
• Proficiency in Teradata SQL, Teradata Utilities (BTEQ, Fast Load, Multiload, TPT),
• Requires better understanding of Teradata indexing strategies and usage of it.
• Requires deeper understanding of Teradata architecture and concepts
• Experience with ETL tools (e.g, DataStage) and data integration.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling (Star schema, Snowflake schema).
• Experience with performance tuning and optimization of large data sets.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux and shell scripting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and business teams.
