What we are looking for
- We are looking for a dynamic, ambitious, and customer-oriented Integration Support Engineer to join our noon payments team.
- The candidate should be a team player and must also be able to work independently without much supervision. They should be flexible to work on shifts (including nights and weekends) with an option to work remotely.
- The candidate must possess at least 3 years’ hands-on experience in system integrations and SW engineering knowledge, with a minimum of 2 years working on high-performance enterprise applications.
- The role will be a mixture of consulting, training, supporting, documenting, analyzing, and
troubleshooting.
- The candidate must be able to provide technical solutions to our existing partners/ merchants and will provide support for integration related queries throughout the integration life cycle. Daily activities are mainly focused on our platforms/ solutions and the way our partners/ merchants use them in their environment. Key focus areas include optimization of conversion rates, risk management, payment acceptance, integration, and more.
What will the role look like?
You will:
- He/she provides dedicated integration support for all types of partners/ merchants.
- He/she manages high severity incidents till resolution.
- He/she understands platform architecture (at a high-level), API documentation, and
- troubleshooting techniques.
- He/she understand the problem, defines severity, and proposes a workaround solution during
- crisis times to recover transactions while still working on the end-to-end solution.
- He/she works very closely with the Tech team to mitigate risks and vulnerabilities.
- Investigates transaction-related technical issues and promptly escalates concerns to the senior
- integration engineers.
- Must be able to interact with external parties comfortably, exhibiting an understanding of
- services being offered, processes, and technology.
- He/she supports merchants on call or onsite with their technical integrations with noon
- payments ensuring quality and reliability of the implementations.
- Create and maintain technical documentation of the product and processes and materials for
- operation staff.
- Organize the support stack (e.g. creating small samples, demos, etc.)
Qualifications Required
- B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years overall development or technical support experience.
- Working experience with Postman
- Fluency in Arabic and English.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of programming/scripting languages
- Basic knowledge of PCI-DSS standard or similar framework (NIST, ISO 27001, etc.)
- Knowledge of XML/SOAP, web services, web application development, and industry-standard
commerce systems.
- Knowledge of Java-based technologies
- Knowledge of REST API and SDK
- Basic understanding of network protocols
- Basic experience with Microsoft Azure
- Knowledge of the mobile development common languages (Android, Swift).
- Basic understanding of DevOps and Agile.
- Previous work with ecommerce and payment related technologies will be a huge advantage.
